About Divya
Divya runs two different companies, Para Dewa and Risk Strategy Consulting Ltd.
Para Dewa (www.paradewa.co.uk) is borne from Divya's passion in wine and making the world a bit more fair. Para Dewa's purpose is to make great wine more accessible. Para Dewa helps more people (especially women) take control of their wine purchasing decisions and introduce them to ultra artisan small winemakers that don't have huge marketing wallets. Divya does this by taking out all the elitism and exclusive jargon, and give people the language to describe what they like, in a comfortable environment. She holds a WSET Level 3 award in wine and has a lot of experience in drinking wine!
Risk Strategy Consulting (www.riskstrategyconsulting.com) is a risk advisory firm that works with companies to find the right balance between risk and reward. Mandates include working with investors on due diligence, developing risk culture (and the underlying frameworks), and advising SMEs on appropriate forms of finance as they go through transitions. Divay is a senior risk leader who has worked as CRO across two scaling fintechs. She has c. 20 years of experience in a range of financial institutions, from a fledgling start-up to one of the largest global banks.
Outside of work, Divya is part of a very active household, and constantly struggles and enjoys failing at physically keeping up with her two sons.
